Computational Chemist

To expand our innovative computational team, we are looking for a qualified Computational Chemist to join our multidisciplinary team of computer scientists, biochemists and agronomists. The successful candidate will apply bioinformatics, molecular modelling and computational chemistry techniques to help design the next generation of sustainable bioactive products.

Requirements:

PhD/MSc in Computational Chemistry
Strong track record of research accomplishments in the area of computational chemistry
Understanding of the physico-chemical properties of small-molecules and their interactions with proteins
Basic knowledge of organic chemistry
Scripting capabilities (Python, R)
Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms – a plus
Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary environment
Creative, self-motivated, responsible

Data Engineer

To expand our innovative computational team, we are looking for a full-time, skilled, enthusiastic data engineer. The successful candidate will join our strong team of scientists and programmers and will be a key player in the development of our technology.

Job description & key responsibilities:

Design, build and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture for optimal extraction,
transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources, including
external APIs, data streams, and data stores
Create cloud data lake architecture using AWS service
Work closely with users and other stakeholders to understand the processes and
translate them into specifications for analytics solutions
Work with a multi-disciplinary group of computer scientists, chemists and agronomists

Requirements:

Proven experience as BI/analytics developer
Experience working with AWS services, including: S3, DynamoDB, EC2
Strong programming techniques and languages: SQL ,Python, Linux
Proficient with relational (SQL) and non-relational (key-value data types) data
modeling
Knowledge of system availability, scalability and security
Excellent research, problem-solving and time management skills
Ability to work independently, responsibly and diligently

Data Scientist

Requirements:

Hands-on software engineering experience with proven AI/ML knowledge
Excellent coding skills, with an appreciation for elegant and clean code in several languages and
technologies (R, python, linux)
Keen interest in biology, chemistry, bioinformatics and the various computational challenges
they pose - an advantage
Excellent understanding of machine learning/deep learning techniques and algorithms
Proficiency in using legacy and modern databases and query languages
Experience working with AWS services, including: S3, DynamoDB, EC2 - an advantage

Project Manager

This person will join us in creating, developing, and improving our products, our processes and our markets. We are seeking a purpose-focused, self-motivated, experienced agronomists who will be accountable for the design and implementation of sustainable product programs.

Design and execute the development process of new bioactive compounds
Manage and oversees various aspects of product development activities including
formulation and regulatory processes
Perform lab and field trials

Requirements:

PhD or MSc in Weed Science or Agronomy discipline and 3+ years of technical
experience in product or project management
Practical understanding of the agricultural marketplace
Product Development experience in the agricultural products market
Experience working cross-functionally with internal and external teams
Strong interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills
Excellent research and problem-solving skills
